Dr. Steele and Sandy go to Roatan!

From November 15-30, the intrepid Dr. Steele (or "La Machina" to her World Vets co-volunteers) teams up with Sandy again for some spay/neuter fun on the island of Roatan, Honduras. The goal: to "fix" as many pets as they can over several days of clinics, and then relax a bit with some SCUBA. Follow along on their adventures!

Getting ready for another trip!

After packing up over 140 pounds of donated medical supplies, and shipping them off to World Vets headquarters for distribution, you'd think we might have had enough for now. Nope! In just a few short days, Dr. Steele and cohort Sandy (our friend from Phoenix Lab) will board a plane for the Caribbean island of Roatan, off the coast of Honduras. We're packing up additional supplies, and putting together some goodies for the Honduran kids - like sidewalk chalk, pencils, and paper. We all owe many thanks to the folks who helped by donating the supplies, or the funds to help buy supplies. You're the reason we are able to go on these trips, to help pets that don't get regular veterinary care.
